Promotion of the advanced achievements for creation and operation of safe, environmentally friendly, reliable automotive vehicles;
The process of informing the automobile public of the legislation and standards in the field of automotive industry and transport;
Ensuring active participation of the automobile public in the development of normative documents and standards in the field of automotive industry and transport;
Introduction of a proper standardization system and voluntary certification in the field of consumer properties of automotive equipment and quality of components;
Carrying out research in essentially new or important areas by AAE groups of experts with financing by the Association or its members or on a contractual basis;
Creation of the conditions promoting constructive growth of students, young engineers;
Establishment of scientific and technical information contacts to similar societies of other countries, with the International Federation of National Societies of Automobile Engineers (FISITA);
